Members of the New Era Team were delighted to assist and attend George Elokobi's first trip back to his family home in Cameroon and it was an honour to be part of such an emotional and well supported event.

We were pleased to organise comprehensive media coverage for the event and in particular the documentary filmed by Premier League World following George visiting the general hospital close to where he used to live and George watching a game of football with his old team in a game organised in his honour. This glimpse into George's background, with its insight into Cameroon both with regards to its footballing heritage and also as a country, has been "must watch" viewing for his many supporters old and new and we look forward to seeing much more media coverage in the future. Whilst in Cameroon George donated sports kits to his local football team and much needed equipment to the General Hospital, since returning George has committed to continue helping as much as possible by setting up his own foundation to help support his hometown.
