Hailing from England's foremost footballing dynasty, Anton has established himself as one of the country's best central defenders.
Anton played almost 150 times for West Ham before a hastily arranged transfer to Sunderland in August 2008. Capped 17 times by England U21s, Anton will now be fully focused on establishing himself as the first choice centre half at Sunderland, and on breaking into the England squad.
On 31st August 2011 Anton signed a three year deal with Queens Park Rangers FC.
